LET'S CONNECT
The PCH Custom Home Process
A custom home is not one decision. It is a sequence of hundreds—made in the right order, with the right people in the field.
Begin / Vision
We begin by understanding the client's goals, the property, and the kind of custom home they want to create.
Align / Direction
PCH reviews the plans, early cost expectations, site conditions, and overall project scope before construction begins.
Refine / Details
Selections, finishes, layout details, and personal priorities are reviewed so the home feels intentional from the start.
Prepare / Coordinate
Engineering, permits, scheduling, and trade coordination are organized before work begins in the field.
Groundwork / Set
The property is prepared, utilities are coordinated, and the foundation begins with the proper groundwork in place.
Structure / Shape
The home takes shape through framing, rooflines, openings, structural details, and field adjustments when needed.
Build / Coordinate
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and custom changes are coordinated directly in the field, with Lance and Logan staying close to the work as the build moves forward.
Complete / Welcome Home
Finishes, punch-list items, and final details are reviewed with care so the home feels complete, personal, and ready to live in.

The right conversations early create a clearer path forward. These are a few of the questions clients ask most often.
Clients do not need everything figured out before reaching out. It helps to have a property, house plans, design ideas, budget direction, or a general vision, but PCH can help guide the early conversations and next steps.
The timeline depends on the size of the home, design details, permitting, site conditions, selections, weather, and project complexity. PCH helps clients understand the expected timeline early and keeps the process moving with steady coordination in the field.
Yes. PCH can review the property, site conditions, access, utilities, grading needs, and overall build expectations to help determine what may be required before construction begins.
Budget direction starts with the plans, property, scope of work, materials, finishes, and site needs. PCH focuses on helping clients understand costs clearly before and during the build so expectations stay grounded and informed.
PCH works for the client, not against them. We do not charge change-order fees. If a change affects cost, schedule, materials, or labor, we communicate it clearly and work through the best path forward before moving ahead.
Lance and Logan are old-school in the best way. They are not just managing from a distance—they stay close to the work, spend real time on site, and still put their hands on the project when needed.
Yes. Clients are welcome to bring their own designer, architect, or plans into the process. If they do not already have one, PCH can help point them in the right direction and work alongside the right professionals to keep the design, budget, and build aligned.
PCH is a family-owned, hands-on custom home builder. Clients work with a team that values clear communication, field leadership, straightforward guidance, and craftsmanship built around the way each family wants to live.
